Board & Batten Exterior Shutters

Ready Shutters board and batten shutters consists of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal (for some styles) boards. Two to eight vertical boards are used to create a panel. The boards can be spaced with an open or closed weave in 20 different configurations. The cross boards are used to give distinction. Use either two, three, four, five, six cross boards. Some styles use diagonal boards in either a z-pattern or x-pattern common on country homes or barns. Vertical boards in some styles can be of different lengths to give a completely original appearance.

Board and batten shutters are also called board-on-board shutters, wide plank shutters, or solid board shutters. These vinyl shutter planks are made with a wood grain appearance for a more authentic look. Each panel is easily installed with screws or shutter spikes depending on siding or material used on the home.

One color can be used for an entire panel, or two colors can be selected for distinction between the vertical and cross boards. Colors are displayed online but can also be requested to view first-hand. Shutter colors include selections of black, brown, green, blue, gray, red, and white.
