Exterior Shutter Warranty and Return Policy
Ready Shutters warrants its shutter products (when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's published installation instructions) against any defects in material or workmanship causing breaking, cracking, splitting or warping, for as long as you own your shutters. This warranty does not cover painting of the shutters unless they were painted by Ready Shutters. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer your shutters. Fading or chalking is not covered by this warranty. Any claims under this warranty must be submitted on our contact page.
All claims must include order number, owner's name, address, telephone number, and brief description of the problem. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
In the event of defect (as described above) Ready Shutters should first be given reasonable opportunity to determine its possible responsibility prior to any repairs or replacements being made and the defective shutters must be returned to Ready Shutters, PREPAID. Upon receipt and at its option, Ready Shutters will repair or replace the defective shutters and return the repaired or replaced shutters to the claimant.
Ready Shutters is not responsible for any costs or expenses incurred in the removal or reinstallation of its product nor is it responsible for any inconvenience, commercial loss, incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by product misuse or abuse, improper installation, fire or acts of God such as hurricanes, tornadoes or hailstorms.
Because shutters are made-to-order, it is unlikely they could be resold or reused if returned. Therefore, shutters are not returnable nor orders cancelable once production has begun.
